Mellow Pad mashup
A riff on shapes in Stuart Davis's "The Mellow Pad", using layers and masking and several apps to radically rearrange, reshape, and to change colors, textures, etc. Done on an iPad Air.
As often happens when shapes are mixed together, afterwards I see faces I didn't notice before. I now see two cartoonish faces looking to the left (to their right) with wide open eyes and open mouths, as if astonished or alarmed. And also, in another place, the shoulders and top of a torso with faceless head bend foreward as if reading a book or menu.
