DSC_0501-Edit.jpg
Objective: Out and About, HDR Photo
Camera mode: I was in Aperture Priority to be able to choose my aperture without having to care about the shutter speed.
ISO: I chose ISO 100 in order to reduce the shutter speed.
Focal Length: My picture has been taken in 28mm because I wanted the whole shed and the grey sky.
Aperture: My aperture was f/29 in order to have as much details as possible in focus.
Shutter Speed: My shutter speed was set automatically to 1/10.
Objective 3: Elements and Principles of Design
Texture: With this HDR Picture, I wanted to highlight the grass, the wood of the shed and the clouds.
Colour: I darkened the highlights and brightened the shadows in order to highlight the orange of the wood, the green of the grass and the white of the gravel.
Space: There is no negative space because I wanted a lot of details in this HDR.
Balance: Even though, the shed is on the left of the picture. The house is directed to the right.
Emphasis: The house is placed on the third line of the Rule of Third.
Objective 4: Lighting
I took this picture outside and waited until the sun had a good position so the shadow is not directly on the shed but towards the side of it.
Objective 5: Post Production
I took seven pictures with seven different exposures (-3.0 to +3.0) merge them to HDR with Photoshop. Then I changed the highlights, shadows, contrast, saturation, vibrance, clarity, sharpening and post-cropping vignetting in Lightroom 4.
Objective 6: Critique
