Yes, I know this is a little out of the ordinary. Heck, its downright weird and I'm probably going to get no more than a few passing glances, but a little creative fun is good for the brain, the right brain that is. I kinda like it.
When I was in Connecticut in the early Spring of 2011 for my Mom's funeral services, I took a little walk in the woods with my niece. There wasn't much there in terms of larger landscape scenes so I decided to try somethng abstract. The birch bark was screaming for a closeup. But it wasn't until I was messing around in Silver Efex that this treatment presented itself. Yes, a little something out of the ordinary, so here it is.
