Geometry

On Sunday my husband and I went for a three mile hike around a public golf course in the local area. It had once been a 'gravel pit' and had long since been left abandoned after being mined out of rock. Years went by and eventually the huge land area changed ownership. A small group of folks had a vision for something vastly different and bold. It would take years before the dreams were realized by an award winning links style golf course. We don't golf. We do walk - and walk we can do on the perimeter path that is an adventure all by itself. I'll be posting some images over these next few days. The day was so gorgeous - I just had to take my camera with me! And the picture here is the ruins or remains of what had been a rock sorting series of 'bins' I suppose. It sits outside the actual course and offers another layer of interest to the public areas nearby.
