Yes, I am a gear head...
This is just film SLRs and Lenses, and not even all of them. I screwed up and failed to put the Super-Multi-Coated Takumar Zoom 1:4.5/85~210mm in the photograph...
This represents the evolution of Pentax SLR cameras, from the early S-series cameras, to the Pentax SL and Spotmatic. From there the Spotmatic II, IIa, F, ES, and ESII.
Included are some cameras from my personal history - RICOH Singlex, Hanimex Praktica, mamiya/sekor, a Praktica FX that I always liked, the Leica M3, Hasselblad and Rollei.
I concentrated on getting Super-Multi-Coated Takumars so that they'd all work with the Spotmatic F and ES/ESII. This has the added benefit of mult-coated glass which helps with contrast and flare control. The one stray dog is the Vivitar 800mm that I got because I could not find the SMC Pentax 1000mm or 500mm, at least at a reasonable price.
Almost all the lenses fit the Canon EOS 5D Mark II with a decent M42-Canon EOS lens mount adapter, giving me ...choices...
More about using these lenses with the Canon here...
