Don't look too closely at this one. It's actually two shots combined pretty crudely in ON1 Photo 10. I set the DxO ONE on an exhibit desk and took a shot with the 10-second timer. When I showed it to Joan, she complained that she wasn't sitting up straight. On the second take, she sat up straight — but I thought the shutter had clicked before it had and I began to stand just as the shutter clicked. I blame the DxO ONE for not being a little clearer about when the timed shutter clicks. Anyway, with the help of ON1 Photo 10, I've slapped the best parts of both shots together. The first shot is on the left, the second on the right.
On second thought, maybe it's okay to look closely. Yes, you'll find lots of imperfections — all of them my fault! And yet, here we are, together. Perhaps this is a symbol of how you stay together for 40 years in these times.
