How To Install a Realtruck Backrack| Hardware Kit #40122 (With a Bed Cover)

 

In this video, I walk through installing a RealTruck BackRack using Hardware Kit #40122. This kit is designed for trucks running a bed cover, and I’ll show how everything lines up during the install.

 

Please refer to your QR code that comes with the kit for your specific instructions. Some of the kits offer videos with them, but this particular one did not. I hope this helps others with this kit.

 

Realtruck recommends keeping the bed cover on when you install this Backrack, however you will probably need a second person to help you if you do this way.

 

*** I removed the bed cover to help show better angles for this video, but I discovered it also enabled me to install this by myself. If you choose to remove the bed cover, if will help you install the stake pocket bolts alone. In my opinion it’s here you would want to reinstall your bed cover. Then line up your rack after you assemble the Backrack to the mounting brackets. ***
