Fall Colors Around Capitol Reef September 2012

Here are some pictures I took on a weekend trip Rick and I took last fall. I wanted to see the colors somewhere new, and I had heard good things about the colors on Boulder Mountain. With the help of a couple friends who live in the area I was able to keep tabs on when the colors were at their peak. In addition to Boulder Mountain we also drove the beautiful Fish Lake Loop, and since we were in the area we made a brief visit to Capitol Reef, my favorite national park.
