Corporate-level Strategy

Corporate-level Strategy is a plan that indicates in which industries and national markets an organization intends to compete. Here we see that McDonald's has implemented their McCafe menu along side their traditional menu. This shows how McDonald's corporate-level strategy has now expanded. They intend to not only compete in the fast-food industry, but also the coffee-espresso industry. It established new competition against companies like Starbucks, that were not tradtionally in the same market as McDonald's before.
