A small length of the Thames Path now leads off from Narrow St and takes you beside the river as far as the Limehouse Dock entrance. The Thames Path did not exist when I made this picture, and there were derelict buildings where there are now modern flats, and I'm not sure whether my access to a site by the river here was legal or simply not well fenced.
I've written earlier about Globe Wharf, dating from 1883. It was restored and converted into flats in 1998 by Berkeley Homes in 1998 and stands out among a whole shoreline of poor modern buildings.
