Ruby Princess arrives in Venice, 28th July 2012. 8 years later she would be embroiled in the covid crisis with a boatload of passengers disembarked in Australia and 28 deaths. And these days the big cruise ships are banned from the Grand Canal - probably for the best, but it was a stunning experience whilst it lasted !
