reims' cathedral in the fog
When I woke up on a saturday i realised it was foggy outside. So I went to explore on foot with my camera and my smartphone. The fog was dense enough to partially cover the top of the cathedral. It was interesting to see that the cathedral "went missing" when standing from quite far away.
I not only took photos with my DSLR but also with my smartphone. I posted my smartphone photo almost straight away to Instagram. My photo was reposted by the local group igerreims and received lots of attention and little hearts ... I even got contacted by a local newspaper !

Lorsque je me suis réveillé un samedi matin, la ville de Reims était recouverte d'un épais brouillard. J'ai saisi cette opportunité et mon appareil photo pour découvrir Reims dans le brouillard. Le brouillard était assez dense pour masquer le sommet de la cathédrale Notre Dame de Reims. Il était aussi intéressant de la voir disparaître lorsque l'on s’éloignait ! Ce jour-la, j'ai non seulement pris des photos avec mon reflex mais également avec mon smartphone. Je l'ai postée presqu'en direct sur Instagram ou elle a reçu pas mal de succès. Elle a été repostée par #igersreims et a reçu un nombre record de petits cœurs. J'ai même été contacté par un journal local. N'achetant pas le journal, je ne sais pas si la photo de mon smartphone a ete publiée ou non. :-/
