The Saloon
I don't usually take many interior shots at National Trust properties, but here's a few to give a taste of the Kingston Lacy decor. The Saloon features two niches designed by Barry in 1840 following sketches by William Bankes based on shell niches in Montpellier and Narbonne. The shells are carved yellow Torre marble, and the back of the niche is in purple and white fleur de pecher marble.
