These little gift tags have huge personalities. You won't even need to bother with conventional wrappings if you use a gift tag decorated with bright hand-marbled paper. The stock section of the newspaper or that brown paper bag in which you carried your groceries will do nicely.
This set of 6 gift tags is decorated with hand-marbled paper made in the studio. The gift tags are high-quality white cardstock. The tags have a small hole for a black satin ribbon that can be used to affix the tag to the package.
The marbled patterns are made by dragging rakes and combs across floating paint droplets. The contrast of the colors emphasizes the fine details in the patterns.
The cards were assembled using a wet adhesive commonly used in book binding and then pressed until dry. All the papers are hand cut and trimmed.
