Isolation

One my trip to Snæfellsnes last weekend I drove the north coast of the peninsula. On that side of the very narrow peninsula there weather was totally different that on the south side. The steep and high mountains that run along the length of the peninsula can cause extreme differences in weather between the south and north coast.

This time the north coast was windy and snowy. The south part of calm and cloudy.

I dont know the name of this old farm but its located close to Grundarfjörður and the beautiful peak of Kirkjufell.
