Calm Ocean
The freezing cold during the last couple of weeks has all lakes and ponds frozen and often covered with snow as well. The ocean is the only thing offering reflections now.
After driving around in the moonlight night shooting some Aurora, I last visited Straumur YET again. It never fails to deliver, there is always a different angle or light each time.
The Aurora surprisingly became active last week. Forecast said little activity but as unpredictable as Aurora is, it suddenly appeared. This time it lasted 2-3 hours with varying intensity.

Shutter speed: 10 sec
ISO: 400
Lens: Canon EF-S 10-22mm @ 15mm
