Whole system shot
This is a shot of my whole system. On the left is a Sauder shaker cherry audio pier with a ca.1970 Marantz Model Twenty Six receiver and topped with a late 1970s Marantz 6350 direct drive turntable. On the back of this pier is a Russound AB-3.2 automatic selector switch that controls which receiver is sending to the speakers. On the right is a Sauder shaker cherry TV stand with a Vizio VO47LF high def LCD television. In the component space below the TV is an older Sony progressive scan DVD player also doing double duty as a CD player. Right below that is a Motorola DVR unit. The sound from both these units is run through the Integra DTM-5.3 receiver on the bottom shelf and out to the Definitive Technology BP7006 Bipolar Supertowers on either side of the stand. Each of these loudspeaker towers has two tweeters, two mid-range drivers and a built-in powered subwoofer.
I think it's a nice mix of the old and new.
