Tapioca! Get out the sugar and eggs....
Well, not really. This "hardy tapioca" or "wild cassava" is Manihot grahamii, a close relative of Manihot esculenta, the plant whose tubers are dried and processed into the pearls that become that stuff you can eat for dessert.
