sunny drying

our home built dehydrator... an old fridge saved from the trash, sun heated copper pipes transporting hot air into the fridge body, an outlet on top to let humidity escape...

works brilliantly with long sunny days, we tried apricots, figs, right now elderberry flowers and lemon verbena leaves in it...

thanks to its wheels, it can be turned according to angle of sun light

the only thing missing: reliable summer days, the SUN visiting many hours... :)
