Seriously wiiiide.

 

Technical note: the black fringing is what you get when you stick a lens designed for a Canon APS-C sensor (which is smaller than a 35mm film cell) on a 35mm full-frame 5D. I'd not fully thought through that this lens (which we normally use on the smaller sensor'd 20D) might actually have some visual (and potentially mechanical) problems with the 5D... but I'm pleased with the effect and it doesn't seem to have unduly harmed the 5D.
