Calla Lily Guttation
One of two images--I recently yielded to temptation & bought a potted yellow Calla Lily. I have loved them ever since I first saw one & finally decided that I "needed" to buy! I noted that the soil in the pot was quite dry, so I employed my usual plant owner technique & soaked it! I understand that this is not always the best method, but I am not very good with plants. Anyway, the next day, I noticed water drops around the pot & realized that my plant had rebelled by rejecting some of the water I had given it! It seems that Calla Lily react to excess watering by guttating! Good to know! Check out this article! It even specifically mentions Calla Lilies!
