30A - "Get back to where?"
With the noise generated by the protesters and hovering Polair helicopters, most people couldn't hear the police shouting "Get back!" All they knew was that something was happening at the front, and they held their ground. A phrase about irresistable force and immoveable objects springs to mind.

30th of August, 2005 - It was a pretty big day at the 30A protest in Sydney, although not as big as many expected. As many as 3000 people (depending on reports) turned out to protest against the Forbes Global C.E.O. Conference. Much fun with a cheeky carnival atmosphere, and a small amount of tension and violence.
