Scarred tree
These images depict the scar tree where it once stood on Springvale Road in Glen Waverley (c1965) and in its current location today in Valley Reserve, Mount Waverley.
When road widening doomed the tree, the scarred part of the trunk was preserved and moved.
The scarred tree is probably the only Aboriginal relic remaining in the City of Monash, and is certainly the City's oldest resident.
