Every now and then you have to say the hell with reality and process something that just looks spiffy (at least to myself).
I think my favorite part of this shot is the calmness and reflective nature of the water. I actually have another pic from around here that has unbelievable water, looks like molten silver but I can't figure out how to process the rest of the shot so that one will have to wait.
Random fact, there is an old lighthouse on the tiny island on the right side of the pic (barely a black speck) that is now privately owned. What an unbelievable view they've got, Acadia to the East, Blue Hill to the North, This spot to the West and open ocean to the South...
Vignette is from polarizer that I forgot to take off, doesn't bother me too much so I left it.
