Muslim leaders in the Netherlands commissioned a research on Dutch youngsters of Moroccan and Turkish descent who 'import' marriage partners from their parental homeland. The imported partners often find it hard to adjust to Western society, learn the new language. This results in a high divorce rate and other unpleasantries. Still, it appears to happen often, and a variety of arguments are given to justify the phenomenon. The book was presented to the press in an Amsterdam mosque.
