An evening walk through the little streets of Nancy near the Basilique Saint-Epvre.
Place Saint-Epvre
At its center stands an equestrian bronze statue of René II, the work of Mathias Schiff built in 1883.
Before the statue was elevated by Renée II 1495 fountain, which was surrounded by a hexagonal basin with a stone fence high1. She was already surmounted by a statue of René II, but this statue was overthrown during the French Revolution in 1793, then replaced by another under restoration.
