she and a ASL interpreter partner took turns signing for the HoH and deaf guests in the crowd at the Iowa Women's Music Festival on 09/15/07 in Iowa City, IA. Even if their services aren't being provided to me personally, I so enjoy watching the poetry and movement of ASL interpretation, esp. when the person signing is really getting into the thing.
At one point while chatting her up onstage, Susan Werner asked how to sign a mix of fairly complicated words, including Potawatomi. (answer: you're gonna have to spell that one all the way out)
