machine knitting
Using the flexibility of specially constructed wires, industrial knitting machines are used to form a textile with a preprogrammed pattern.
In response to stimulation by an electric current, phosphor material within the wire emits light as current passes through it. The result is a uniquely urban element, which deliberately reacts to movements within its surroundings.
