SNCF Carré violet (CV) signal

 

Equivalent to the carré, this signal is in general installed on the service tracks (except particular cases: backward movements for parking, exit from some station tracks...).

 

The closed carré violet commands the driver to stop before the signal.

 

This sign tells drivers of electric locomotives to refrain from sitting under the bridge while stopped at the station

 

This is from the D21 Pont D'Altkirch bridge on the western edge of the station looking away from the station.
