Engine 74-2
Labour Day, Mon Sept 5 was a busy day for DFD, running 8 calls most on the Delaware side. Around 2:00 in the afternoon 74 was dispatched for a camper trailer on fire. 74 Command arrived to find a trailer on fire and still attached a vehicle. Also two dogs were reported trapped in the trailer. Engine 74-3 arrived and pulled two attack lines. Engine-Tanker 74-2 arrived and supplied Engine 3 with water.
The dogs were rescued and were unharmed, the SUV was detached from the trailer and was undamaged and the fire was extinguished. All in all a good outcome considering the potential.
