The First International Car Forest of the Last Church may be the perfect place to contemplate the human effect on our landscape. Others may debate the merits of the Anthropocene as a geologic epoch or merely a cultural era, but it's hard to deny our presence in even the most remote environments. The question is if we leave the world a little better than we found it.

 

In the van is my friend Vasken, one half of @countrynerdfarm where they grow mushrooms, goats, and chickens. Sometimes, however, he gets to go on road trips with me.
