Minifig scale pickup trucks and SUV
Because I have not been home in the last two weekend, due to a work trip, I have not built any new models, although I am in the process of planning something. Instead, I'm posting a few comparison pictures of the models I have built recently (plus an old one).
Most of my minifigure scale models are on the smaller side of the range of scales that most people consider appropriate. Trucks and SUVs end up being six studs wide (five studs plus mudguards). This makes building them such that they are recognisably a particular make and model quite difficult. The SUV is supposed to be a Chevrolet Suburba. It is a slightly updated version of a model that I have had since 2009. The pickup trucks, a RAM and a Ford F150, are more recent.
