bullfinch ~ pyrrhula pyrrhula (male + juvenile)

Yesterday in the rain a female was feeding this chick. It was the first bullfinch chick I have seen this season. They were completely ignored by the other bullfinches. Today the chick has been calling but there is no female around. The males at this time completely ignored him. He is still calling now I will check on him later. Meanwhile I have put a selection of mixed seeds on the birdtable if he gets to the birdtable he will be able to feed himself. I have not seen this bullfinch behaviour before.
