DIY headboard project
Installing the oak strips of wood (3/4 inch thick) to make a french cleat. A french cleat is cut on a 45 degree angle and one piece is fixed to the wall making sure it is level in the studs. The next piece is mounted to the headboard. The strips are approximately 4 feet long and were mounted to 3 studs.
