Thumb from Spindle

I'd knitted the whole thing right from the the drop spindle. It's fun. SInce the single isn't balanced by another ply, there's a bias to the straight stockenette cloth. But since it's a tube, the bias only serves as a pattern rather than a way to stretch a square out of shape. It's pretty cool.

 

The spindle is the Bosworth mini spindle, in tulip wood.

 

And when I dyed this, I was trying for a green-yellow-orange threesome of analogous colors, they blended more than I liked, but I think it worked?

 

I basically knitted a tube, put a forethought thumb in (by using waste yarn to knit across the gap once, and removed that single row in order to add the thumb)
