Visiting

All of a sudden they came, first two of them and we where surprised. The traffic through town slowed down, people wanted to see if they where around. Day by day, there they where and the people watched. Finger's, camera's and binocular's where pointed towards the sea. Everyone wondered why they came. "Curiosity" said one and could well understand the need for travelling and see other places. "Nah" said another, "it must be some loud sound in the sea because of the oil search" and on his face one could see that no-one should disturb whales to get oil. Strangely enough he drove away in his car. While an old man snuffed a tobacco in his nose, got some tears in his eyes he wondered "isn't this the global warming stuff people are talking about, it is unusually warm fall". A nearby woman trying to get her children to stick on shore said "they are lost, animals often get lost".

Whatever the reason, two more came so now four northern bottlenose whales swim in harbor. And a researcher claimed that two more are on the way. Maybe we will have so many of them finally that we can't use the harbour.

So while others have to sail on boats to see whales we just take the bus. And it is fun, definitely a lot of fun.
