Transform and Have Visible Gaps!
Now on to my problems with this figure. If you look above his gas tanks, you can clearly see parts of his robot mode just hanging out there. Also, along the back of the cab is just a big, wide open space. These are all problems caused by the desire to simplify the figure's transformation. And while I can sympathize with that (I cannot imagine a seven year old trying to transform Battle Blades Optimus Prime, which gives a stunningly accurate robot *and* alt mode but has a transformation scheme that makes adults cry), one should not have to sacrifice looks for playability. While I can't really say I regret importing this guy, I can tell you that I'll almost never have him in this mode for display purposes.
