Beginners Luck

First day in Florida. We're staying at a place called Bass Lake. After we got unloaded and everything unpacked I decided to take a walk down to the lake. On the way there I passed two small ponds. While at the lake taking pictures I met a local boy about nine or ten years old. He told me there was a ten foot alligator living close by but there was also an smaller one living in the larger of the two ponds. Well I never did see the ten footer but sure enough, on my way back to the house, there was the little guy catching some rays along the shore line of the pond. This gator was at best , four feet long. He's still a scary little bugger. Orlando, Florida
