A colorful, attractive and very active small bird that is found in plenty in the forests of the Himalayan range. The colors on the bird are amazing and like a painting. It was a delight watching it play around.
The birds are social creatures and always found in flocks. They are also quite shy and vary of the larger birds around. Magpies, Pheasants, Treepies and even a few Laughingthrushes made them dart off into the cover. I guess their small size means lot more precautions are needed.
Again, these are exclusive to the Himalayan belt of India though found much of Southern China and Parts of South East Asia.
