OLD 566, London Transport RT 4779

OLD 566, London Transport RT 4779 (1954 AEC RT / Weymann), at Weybridge High Street, on events day route 462 to Brooklands Museum.

 

New in green ‘country bus’ livery, this bus was one of a batch that was transferred to central buses in 1969, and RT 4779 was in service until 1978. After a spell as a driver training bus, it has been in preservation since.
