The aircraft was sold to a lessor in Nov-87 and leased back to Canadi>n Airlines. In Apr-01 Canadi>n Airlines was merged into Air Canada. The aircraft continued in service until it was returned to the lessor and permanently retired at Mojave, Ca, USA in Jul-03.
It was re-registered N291TR in Nov-03 but the registration was never applied to the aircraft. The registration was finally cancelled in Jan-13.
