Smooth Newt Release.

Found in my kitchen tangled up in a ball of dog fur. I think She (I think is a female) must have crawled in through the back door and gone under the fridge, then struggled out into view. Once the hair had been carefully removed; it was housed in an old fish tank so it could recover and then released near the pond. These photos were taken just before its release.
