SpringTail ~ Orchesella cincta

Found this colourful little chap in a big plant pot I keep for my lillys , he was approx 1.5mm - 2mm.

 

The image itself is quite dull , but this guy was deep in the plant pot & the flash barely made an impact. He wasn't hanging around either, god these guys bounce around like crazy when disturbed :-)

 

Image had to be captured using the Raynox Dcr150 & 250 macro conversion lenses coupled together
