Also located int he first basement is the AV/IT depot, which serves as a central location for incidental equipment rental and setup (including projector carts and computers used by teachers, as well as video cameras and recording equipment rented by students) as well as residence for the student AV staff, who are responsible for operation and maintenance of the lighting and audio systems used throughout the school. This jurisdiction includes the Rose Auditorium in addition to the Cooper Union Great Hall, in the Foundation building.
