Seth Thomas Clock closeup
This Seth Thomas mantle wall clock is probably from the 1850s or 1860s, based on the descriptions of similar clocks that I have seen for sale.
My dad gave this clock to Ida and me in 1988, when we moved into our first apartment.
The clock works well, although it requires daily winding, which I haven't been diligent about.
I love the typography on the interior note.
