OK, so this is a bit of a stretch. But it said "No Exit" right there in the photo illustrating the FlickrFriday theme for the week of Apr 18, 2014 (NoWayOut) so I, umm, went with it. In the gaze of another, you perceive yourself as an object in their consciousness: "L'enfer, c'est les autres," says Sartre in No Exit, "Hell is other people."
(But really I'm just looking at myself so it's OK. I think.)
Notes: flash in E-TTL, on stand camera right below and angled slightly toward subject, triggered with off-camera shoe cord. Direct flash is a blunt instrument.
