Some would drywall, some would use mesh tape and joint compound...but I fix plaster with plaster!
I am glad that I was able to recover the ceilings and walls on the first and second floor on the front section of the house. The thought that my walls and ceilings are the same that were here in 1885 is reassuring. Let there be some continuity in the world, please!
