Black-throated Blue Warbler

For the longest time, I have dreamt of getting an opportunity to photograph the male Black-throated Blue Warbler. Being an East coast only bird I knew my chances of seeing one in SoCal was slim. That all changed today. A lone gorgeous male has setup temporary residency at San Diego State University since early December. So my favorite birder pal @moniquedao.photography and I took the long two hours drive down to SD to see him. And he does not disappoint. What an incredibly beautiful warbler and an absolutely unforgettable experience.
