One of a few photos on a disc of test shots taken with my new Canon 10D in 2004. The reason for the tests was a problem with a new 12-24mm Sigma lens. This lens was supposed to be very good but the images from mine were very soft and Sigma swapped it. The photos are with the replacement. I just wandered around the yard taking test shots to check the sharpness. It was discovering the Foden gritter print the other day that made me look for the digital files. I must have checked 30 cd's and DVD's - it was labelled Test shots, not very helpful.
The gritters are very much toward the end of their working life and look well worn. I had long since given up spray painting and the income from a gritter doesn't cover paying for outside company resprays.
