Another angle on the Uhlenhaut Coupé from 1955...

 

This is a hardtop version of the 300 SLR racing car which was developed for the 1956 racing season. As the company ceased its motorsport activities at the end of the 1955 season, it was never used. Instead, it was used by the head of the Test Department, Rudolf Uhlenhaut, as company car. Therefore the nickname.
